I am moving out of the Village, and my house sold much more quickly than I expected. The sale closes on September 21. As a municipal politician, maintaining a residential connection to the community—either through owning or renting a home—is a requirement, so this move means I need to step aside.

Councillor Joe Aragona has been appointed Acting Mayor, effective Monday, September 21, 2026. Joe was acclaimed as Mayor for the 2026–2030 term, so this will provide seamless leadership for Council and the community.

My Facebook page and website will be turned off, where possible, and will no longer be monitored.

Thank you for your support over the past 12 years. Together, we have accomplished much, cared for our own, and created opportunities for personal growth for so many people.

It has been an honour to serve as your Mayor.
