Shout out to Lauren and Chris Hartley

For the past 6 weeks, Lauren and Chris have been hosting The Port Volleyball Clinic on Friday evenings at Lion’s Beach. Students from grades 7-10 have been honing their volleyball skills and developing positive attitudes through Lauren and Chris’s coaching.

This unique clinic is only possible because of the commitment the Hartley’s have to developing young athletes. Two outstanding teachers. Two amazing residents of Westport.

Last clinic is Friday, August 25 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come and see for yourself the results that these young people have achieved with 6 weeks of solid coaching . Well done volleyball players!

Thank you Westport Blooms

I received this email from a visitor to the Village. Although I am not the “boss”, this was a great an opportunity to give a shout out to the Blooms team. Thank you for your time, effort and creativity.

My husband and I were there today and the planters are absolutely beautiful!  And huge!We spoke with the gentleman as he was watering some  hanging baskets .  I asked how they stay so nice etc and he told us bout the fertilizer twice a week and regular watering etc .
We complimented him on the great job he was doing !
Therefore my reason for this email is to send his “boss” a recognition for a job well done!
Appreciate it if  you could pass this along to the correct area as your village is so pretty!
