I received this email from a visitor to the Village. Although I am not the “boss”, this was a great an opportunity to give a shout out to the Blooms team. Thank you for your time, effort and creativity.
My husband and I were there today and the planters are absolutely beautiful! And huge!We spoke with the gentleman as he was watering some hanging baskets . I asked how they stay so nice etc and he told us bout the fertilizer twice a week and regular watering etc . We complimented him on the great job he was doing ! Therefore my reason for this email is to send his “boss” a recognition for a job well done! Appreciate it if you could pass this along to the correct area as your village is so pretty!
Please join us for the Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service – Westport Paramedic Response Unit Launch Event on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, from 1:30p.m. – 2:30p.m. The event will be taking place at the Westport Fire Hall.
Remarks from elected officials and Paramedic staff will occur and light refreshments will be served.
Several residents joined the excitement at the fire hall this Sunday morning to welcome the UCLG paramedics to the Village of Westport. Beginning today, Westport and North Leeds will be served by a first response paramedic 7 days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. stationed at the fire hall in Westport.
You will still call 9-1-1 when you need an ambulance, however our expectation is the response time will be very quick.
The paramedics Deputy Chief and Superintendent joined the gathering at the fire hall as did our own paramedic Peter Joseph. Peter will be in Westport when on duty, and of course other paramedics will be here when he is on rest days.
Please give them the Westport wave when you see them!
